About us
Yes, there really is a Bea, and yes, she really is just so sweet. Bea belongs to a watercolor artist named Jolene Eborn and her family. Bea was found as a puppy, in the desert, along with her 9 brothers and sisters, who had been abandoned by their mother. The local Humane Society rescued them and Bea was then adopted by Jolene. Bea spends lots of time in the studio at Jolene's feet while she paints custom watercolor pet portraits and playing with sister, Millie, a little Chihuahua/Papillon mix that was also adopted by the Eborn family.
Jolene has loved everything about art since totally falling for that first box of 64 Crayola crayons. She has been honing her craft ever since. She studied with a local watercolor teacher many years ago but when her kids were born, most of her art was done along with them with construction paper and crayons and making scrapbooks of the kids' adventures. About 10 years ago, she got back into watercolor and has been largely self taught since then, taking every opportunity to improve. She loves to learn.
Jolene loves animals and loves painting their portraits. She is very focused on detail and wants to get each animal "just right" for Sweet Bea Studio's customers.
When you purchase a Sweet Bea Studio custom watercolor pet portrait you can be certain that Jolene cares and will do her very best to make sure that your furry friend's personality comes shining through.
